She was predeceased by: her parents, James Melton Johnson and Eva Ernestine Johnson; her husband Tommy James; her son Darrell James; her grandparents, Allen Walter, Etta Jane Martin Boyte, Edward and Evie Hemphill Johnson; her parents-in-law, Brooks and Stella James; and her sister Lydia Faye Rowells.
She is survived by: her daughters, Darlene Patterson (Michael) and Dana Wilkinson (Jackie Jr.); her siblings, Don Johnson (Ann) and Norma Griffith; her grandchildren, Chad Sanford (Colette), April Rippy (Dustin), Chasity Bourn (Blake), Kayla Wilkinson and Kolby Wilkinson; her great grandchildren, Taylor Cosper (Elton), Piker Ratliff, Maggie Sanford, Abby Rippy, Caleigh Bourn, Celsey Bourn, Jacob Sanford, Karly Jo Rippy and Seth Rippy; and her sisters-in-law, Ann Russell and Nancy James. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
