It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Marie Acy of Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on February 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Ellis Boyte Sr. and Lillie Elizabeth Hemphill Boyte; her husband Charles William Acy, Sr.; and her siblings, Jessie Lee Hilton, Wessie Dee Boyte, Sr., Tom Boyte, Jr. and Hugh Boyte.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy King (Donnie Sr.), Sherry Adams (Bill), Tina Marble (Kenneth), Tammy Vinson (Frank), Sara Owen (Bill) and Chet Acy (Jessie); and her sister Joan Hester. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Johnnie Acy to The Brookhaven/Lincoln County Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Bank of Brookhaven.
