We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2024, at the age of 83, John F. Monahan of Brookhaven, Mississippi, born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Monahan and Catherine Campbell Monahan; his wife Peggy Rogers Monahan; his son James Anthony "Tony" Monahan; and his mother-in-law Lida Tad Rogers.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy (Mike); his granddaughters, Katie Lagrone (Chad) and Emily McBeath (Will); his great grandchildren, Hayes Lagrone, James Lagrone, William McBeath, Clark Lagrone, Jones McBeath, John McBeath and Mary Mills McBeath; his caregivers, Courtney of St. Luke and Denise; and also Tammy.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Blair Batson or Sunnybrook Children's Home.
