He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Smith Sutton; his daughters, Patricia Sutton Parker and Cynthia Sutton Thompson; his brother David Lane Sutton; and his grandchildren, J. B. Parker, Josh Parker, Robby Herring, Chris Herring, Brandt Sutton and Megan Sutton Reginelli. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, other loving family members and friends as well as his faith family.
