She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Smith and Mildred Dunnigan Smith; her husband A. C. Lofton; and her siblings, Herman "PeeWee" Smith, Calvin Smith, Chester Smith and Katie Ruth Wilkinson.
She is survived by: her son Roy G. Lofton (Jenny) of Brookhaven; her grandchildren, Mandy Smith (Gary), Brandi Jenkins (Victor), Jamie Smith (Stephanie) and Janneast Lofton; and her great grandchildren, Haley Smith, Cody Smith, John Louis Smith, Avery Smith, Mike Jenkins and Gabi Montes De Oca.
