It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Horace Hoyt of Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Granberry Smith and Eula Smith Smith; his wife Dorothy Jean Britt Smith; and his grandson Brandon Purvis Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Wayne J. Smith (Debbie) of Brookhaven, MS and Mitchell Purvis Smith; and his brother Dewey P. Smith. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
