He was predeceased by: his parents, Augusta C. Plotner and Harry R. Plotner; his wife Katie Plotner; his sister-in-law Nora Mesnard; his sister Anna Mae Plotner; and his siblings-in-law, Jacaueline Bauer, Patricia Gill, Roberta Berie and Harold Mesnard.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy S. O'Hern of McComb, Harry R. Plotner III (Lori) of Brookhaven, Douglas L. Plotner (Chin-Zen) of La Plata and Ryan Plotner (Kristi) of Madison; his grandchildren, Jay O'Hern (Crystal), Jason O'Hern (Kayla), Reagan Plotner, Reed Plotner and Lindsey Plotner; and his great grandchildren, Emily O'Hern, Callie O'Hern, Natalie O'Hern and Riley O'Hern.
