It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory E. Covington (Brookhaven, Mississippi), leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Diane Anding and Claude Covington; his stepfather Ricky Edwards; his brother Chris Covington; his brother-in-law John Bennett; and his grandparents, Earl, Etta Mae Covington, Willie and Lillie Mae Anding.
He is survived by: his stepmother Brenda Covington; his siblings, Kevin Edwards (Beth), Jeramie Edwards (Adrianna), Vicky Bennett and Dana Smith (Rob); his stepsiblings, Joel Avants and Chastity Cooper; his nieces and nephews, Richard Edwards (Emily), Jarred Bennett (Courtney), Devin Edwards, Evan Edwards, Kaylon Sullivan (Alex), Raigan Nelson (Beau) and Kaylea Simmons (Lane); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jessi Claire Bennett, Ruby Edwards, Emery Edwards, Weston Edwards, Gracelyn Sullivan, Olivia Sullivan and Jackson Simmons; and his caregiver Carla Knighten. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Riverwood Family (76 US-51, Brookhaven, MS 39601). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
