She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy L. Leviner and Beulah Horne Leviner; her grandson Timothy Johnsey; and her siblings, Mary White, Odessa and Edward "Butch" Liles.
She is survived by: her husband Floyd Higginbotham; her children, Sam Higginbotham (Shirley), Tim Higginbotham (Wanda), Benita Johnsey (Tommy) and Beth Wicker; and her sister Vernie Elliot. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
