He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Annie Maude Carlisle Smith; his son Justin Michael Smith; and his siblings, Terry Smith, Timmy Martin, Roy Lynn Martin, Kim Lambert and Deborah Persche.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracey Howell (Jay) of Brookhaven; his grandchildren, Bennett Case, Tansley Case, Landon Howell, Nathan Howell, Hayden Howell, Halley Smith and Palyn Smith; his brother Orville Martin (Charlotte); and his close friend Margie Parsons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
