She was predeceased by: her parents, Collis Whittington and Annie Pearl Whittington; and her siblings, Margaret Whittington, Luther Whittington and Harold Whittington.

She is survived by: her children, Michael McKenzie (Yevgeniya) of Smithdale, Lamar McKenzie (Vicky) of Summit and Teresa Sanford (Jamie) of Purvis.
