It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil B. Rhodes of Brookhaven, Mississippi, who passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Rhodes and Cola Breland Rhodes; his wife Olivia Chaney Rhodes; and his siblings, Hayes Rhodes, Reid Rhodes, Walter Franklin Rhodes (Mutt) and Selma Rushing.

He is survived by: his children, Sheila Turnage and Byron Rhodes; his sisters, Lee Pendergrass and Zula Shackelford; his grandchildren, Matthew Turnage (Taylor), Terri Irons (Ty) and Marc Turnage (Lora); and his great grandchildren, Cecilia, William, Drew, Meredith, Jackson and Bailey.
