He is survived by: his children, Sheila Turnage and Byron Rhodes; his sisters, Lee Pendergrass and Zula Shackelford; his grandchildren, Matthew Turnage (Taylor), Terri Irons (Ty) and Marc Turnage (Lora); and his great grandchildren, Cecilia, William, Drew, Meredith, Jackson and Bailey.
