It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Hennington Leggett of Brookhaven, Mississippi, born in Wesson, Mississippi, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hennington and Velma Mae Ray Hennington; her husband Lynis Leggett; her daughter Dianna Lee Leggett; and her brother Eddie Lee Hennington.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Price, Kay Buckels (Mark) and Christy Leggett (Mike Newell); her grandchildren, Chad R. Smith, Jenny E. Price and Taylor D. Kennedy; and her great grandchildren, Brody Banks, Justin Hudson, D'ana Gambino and Jazlyn Price.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers please make donations in Betty Leggett's name to Brookhaven Animal Rescue League (BARL) 501 North Park Lane Drive Brookhaven MS 39601.
