He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Ainsworth and Mattie Meadows Ainsworth; his former wife Mellie Thornton Ainsworth; and his son Jerry Bryan Ainsworth. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Flanagan Ainsworth of Braxton; his children, Marie Netherland, Wayne Ainsworth (Gail), Joanne Johnson (Travis), Mike Flanagan (Charlotte) and Greg Hampton (Amy); his grandchildren, Trevor Johnson, Bradley Ainsworth (Lauren), Jordan Johnson (Jessica), Dixie Waldrop (Jeff), Justin Flanegan, Michelle Weeks (Stephen), Shannon Wheat (Daniel) and Kristen Worrell (Jordan); and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Aniston, Pepper Jean, Brayden, Tucker, Vayda, Jaxson, Layton, Keylan, Hampton and Ruby Kate. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
