He is survived by: his children, Nicole Wedgeworth (Leon) and Brian Whittington (Rebekah); his grandchildren, Brynna Keefer (Logan), Blane Wedgeworth, Alex Whittington and Mitchell Whittington; his siblings, Patricia Shelton, Jayne Mayo (Jerry) and Steve Whittington (Brenda); and his brothers-in-law, Fred Rees and Scotty McDonald.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cato Baptist Church (1122 Cato Rd, Braxton, MS 39044). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at the Ross Cemetery (2169 Wade Patrick Rd, Braxton, MS 39044).
