He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie James Ragsdale and Linda Kay Grant; and his brother Frank James Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Damarquis Gilbert of Brandon, MS and Kierstan Gilbert of Tulsa, OK.; and his siblings, Anthony Shepherd (Latasha) of Brandon, MS., Hope Grant of Pelahatchie, MS, Shalanda Hampton, Showanda Shepherd of Jackson, MS and Brittiney Grant of Forest, MS. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
