He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Nathaniel Manning and Nelda Ellen Grissom Manning; his wife Melba Manning; his daughters, Martha and Jody Lynn; and his siblings, Nancy Ellen Manning and Johnnie Lee Manning.
He is survived by: his siblings, James L. Manning (Sue), Eddie Thomas Manning (Rosie), Richard Manning, Pamela Ray Carty (Robert), Alice Kay Stewart (Morris) and Daniel Hardin Manning (Ruby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
