Wilbert Lofton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbert Lofton (Brandon, Mississippi), born in Pulaski, Mississippi, who passed away on November 25, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Lofton and Willie Mae Rankin Lofton; his wife Harvie Lee; his granddaughter Kennedy Alise Gibson; and his siblings, Ella Mae Grisle, Clora Bell Moore and Hines Lofton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Lofton of Richland, MS, Felicia Burton (Quincy) of Brandon, MS and Christina Gibson (Richard) of Brandon, MS; his niece Miranda Newsome of Brandon, MS; and his sisters, Myrtle Jones of Buffalo, NY and Flora Evans of Moss Point, MS. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He created and sponsored the monthly senior citizens breakfast until the pandemic of 2020.
