He is survived by: his close friend Catherine Fletcher of Brandon, Mississippi; his children, Walter Norwood of Magee, Cedric Norwood of Mendenhall, Mississippi, Yulanda Norwood-King of Montgomery and Henriette Love of Brandon, Mississippi; his siblings, Plummer Jones (Jean) of D'Lo, Mississippi, Dorothy Baylis of Tacoma and Lenora James of Mendenhall, Mississippi; and also, Stanley Jones, John Ross, Raymond Ross, Eric Gray and Sylvia Gray. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
