He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Perry Howle and Cleopatra Loveless McCarty Howle; his former wife Betty Irene Howle; his wife Patsy Pauline Howle; and his siblings, Paul Howle, Kathryn Rowzee, Billie Boehne and Berma Jean O'Neal.
He is survived by: his sons, Bert Howle, Larry Howle (Cile) and Ray Howle (Jeanie); his brother Keith Howle (Martha); his grandchildren, Sandy Howle, Natalie Howle, Brooke Warnock (Rudy), Madison Mitchell (Zach), Justin Howle, John Scott Banks, Chelsea Boulware (Chad) and Shelby Dowdle; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Warnock, Blake Warnock, Landon Warnock, Zoey Mitchell, Ryder Dowdle, Brock Boulware and Owen Boulware.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to First Baptist Fannin Church, Building Fund.
