She was predeceased by: her parents, Linerd Copeland and Effie Cumberland Copeland; her husband Jack Paceley Teer, Sr.; and her siblings, Verdis Copeland, Elvie Hudson, Edwin Copeland, Bernis Copeland, Delbert Copeland and Arlon Copeland.
She is survived by: her sons, Jack Paceley Teer, Jr., Michael Wayne Teer (Jo) and Kelly Copeland Teer; and her siblings, Mary Breland, Nancy Covington and Prentice Copeland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Ott & Lee Funeral Home (1360 W Government St, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakewood Memorial Park (6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, MS 39209).
