It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Teresa Denise Gilmer Hood of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Billy Oren Gilmer; her brother Billy Oren Gilmer Jr.; and her uncle Jack Morgan. She is survived by: her husband Greg Hood; her mother Betty Means; her stepchild Brook Hood; her aunts, Mary Leonberger (Billy), Cheryl Morgan and Patricia Ashley (Ed); and her uncle Leslie Morgan (Grace). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brandon Baptist Church Building Fund at 100 Brandon Baptist Dr. Brandon, MS 39042.
