It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Stringer Busby (Brandon, Mississippi), who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elsie Black Stringer and Mike Stringer; her husband Ray Busby; and her siblings, Earl Stringer, Joseph Stringer, Edward Stringer and Katie Stringer.
She is survived by: her daughter Suzanne Russell of Madison, MS; her grandchildren, Michael Russell [Diana] of San Diego, CA and Suzannah Britt [Anthony] of Madison, MS; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Rae, Russ Taylor and Telmo Britt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the M. Ray Busby Memorial Scholarship Fund at Jones College in Ellisville or Hope Extended Foundation Casa de Fe, the orphanage in Ecuador, where her great-grandson, Telmo lived for 11 years prior to his adoption.
