He is survived by: his children, Leah Diane Howell, Sammie Parker "Rusty" Howell, Jr. and John Martin "Johnny" Howell; his grandson Joshua Martin "Josh" Howell (Hilary); his children, Jinnie Lee Jellema (Chris), Richard Matthew "Matt" Howell (Alisha), Justin Allen Reynolds, Kyle James Reynolds and Logan Michael Reynolds; and his great grandchildren, Rinoa, Hazel, Bella, Harlie, Jett, Carsen, Paisley and Presley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors and Tunnel to Towers.
