It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth M. Hardin (Brandon, Mississippi), born in Pickens, Mississippi, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Garvis and Julie Garvis (Willie Hardin); and her siblings, Gertrude Garvis, Dorothy McDaniel and Edward Garvis.
She is survived by: her spouse Willie Hardin; and her children, Ruth (Eddie Wansley), Eva Shell, Sarah McDowell, Angel Hardin, Edward and Larry Hardin. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
