He was predeceased by: his son J. W. Thomas; and his brother Kenny Thomas. He is survived by: his son Lee Thomas (Tiffany); his siblings, Jeff Thomas (Jamie), Happi Thomas and Jennie Payne; his grandchildren, Selena Thomas, Cameron Thomas and Brelyn Thomas; and his parents, Jan Thomas (Jean) and Mary Capps (Robert Boothe). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
