It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebekah Jo Brewer Cooksey of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Cascilla, Mississippi, who passed away on March 17, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert; her parents, Luther Beatrice and Allie Beatrice; her siblings, Davis, Velma of Lee, LH and Betty; and her grandson Ethan.
She is survived by: her children, Tena Myers, Michael Yarbrough (Diane), Debi Singletary, Mark Yarbrough (Cyndie) and Eric Yarbrough (Stacy); her stepchildren, Elizabeth Cooksey, Sharon Cooksey, Robert Lee Cooksey, David Cooksey and Pam Cooksey; and her siblings, Oliver, Thelma, Wesley, Herbert, Faye, James Harrison, Sharon and Oral. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
