It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal Roland of Brandon, Mississippi, who passed away on June 9, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Marshall Leon Perkins Sr.; her husband Rev. Daniel Roland; her parents, George E. Gould and Martha E. Gould (Wheeler); and her children, James Randall Perkins and Peggy Diane Cuenca.
She is survived by: her sons, Marshall Ray Perkins (Beverly), Larry Wayne Perkins (Sybile) and David Leon Perkins; her brother Douglas Gould; her daughter-in-law Janet Perkins; her sister-in-law Virginia Roland Bufkin; and her son-in-law Rudy Cuenca. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
