It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathaniel McCoy Jr. (Brandon, Mississippi), who passed away on October 19, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Nathaniel McCoy, Sr. (Emma Ruth Hobbs McCoy); and his parents, Nathaniel McCoy, Sr. and Emma Ruth Hobbs McCoy. He is survived by: his children, Michael of Maryland, Derrick (Toni) of Maryland, Nathan McCoy of Maryland and Monica Walker (Terrell); his sister Elizabeth (John); his cousins, Jessie Pittman of Brandon, MS, Shirley Dear (Eddie) of Brandon, MS and Linda McCoy of Brandon, MS; his godson Mikal Swaggard; and his granddaughter Jamie McCoy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
