She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard VanSeyst and Aletha Craig VanSeyst; her husband Charles W. Stevenson Sr.; and her sisters, Audrey Willis and Grace Burkett.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Stevenson (Myra), Charles Stevenson Jr. (LaWanda), Cindy Wallace (Price), Michael Stevenson Sr. (Virginia) and Aletha Davis (John). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pelahatchie Baptist Church at 300 Church St. Pelahatchie, MS 39145.
