With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Stanley of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Madison, Mississippi, who passed away on September 15, 2022 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ellen Stanley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry K. Williamson and Minnie Jane Williamson; her sisters, Elois Schmidt and Athalee Stormant; her son-in-law Ken Townsend; and her great grandchild Lily Jane Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Townsend, Kim Brake (Bill Brake) of Florence, MS, Rusty Alliston (Betty) of Opelika, AL and Richmond Alliston (Bennie Gayle) of Morton, MS.; and her grandchildren, Billy Brake (Kacy), Shelley Trinh (Alan), Nathan Phillips (Caroline), Mitchell Phillips, Reed Alliston, Courtney Wilson (Rob) and Samantha Bridges (Chase). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brandon First United Methodist Church.
