It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Evelyn Risher of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on April 20, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father J. R. Mounger; and her brother Tommy Mounger. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Fortune (Karen) and Clifton Fortune; her siblings, Lisa Carol Mounger and Billy Mounger; her grandson Justin Fortune; and her niece Patty Harrell.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
