She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Davis; her former husband Oscar Smith; her parents, John Bruce and Ann Layton Bruce; and her brother John Bruce.

She is survived by: her daughter Delia Ann Smith; her granddaughter Ava Rose Hilton; her sister Virginia Thompson; her nephew Bobby Bruce; and her nieces, Jennifer Lowery and Leslie.
