It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Glynn Long of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Long and Ersel Carr Long; and his siblings, Dean Long, Diane Long Sanders and Joanne Long Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Neva Tanya Hutchins Long; his children, Justin Long (Charity) and Neva Long Atwood (Joseph); and his grandchildren, Tanner McMillan and Madisyn Long. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in the name of Swayzie Gundy or any of the children fighting cancer.
