He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wesley Heard, Jr. and Mary Azlene Mullen Heard; and his grandmother Brantley Heard. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Heard; his children, Carla Cassandra (Frank) of Lake Worth, FL and Rev. Jerrard Heard of Los Angeles, CA.; his sister Mary Tom Aldridge of Burnsville, NC; his sister-in-law Virginia Heard of Florence, MS.; and his stepchildren, Cindy Graves (Bobby) of Starkville, MS, Matt Greene (Heather) of Heber Springs, Emily Norris (Justin) of Dexter and Lisa Niebrugge (Harold) of Troy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
