With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Nell Stokes of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Greenwood, Mississippi, who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Newton Cox and Vera Inez Montague Cox; and her former husband Windell Louis Faubion. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Stokes of Brandon, MS; her daughters, Cindy Bierman (Steve) of Alabaster and Elizabeth Castiglione of Pearl, MS; and her siblings, Jane Adair (Walter) of Dixon, TN, Patricia Pace of Flowood, MS, John Cox (Evelyn) of Pearl, MS and Walter Cox (Mildred) of Morton, MS. She is also survived by six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
