He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Lester Crosby and Mary Alice Crawford Crosby; and his brothers, Hugh Crosby and Buck, Sr. (Claude Neil Crosby). He is survived by: his grandparents, Steven and Amanda Housley; his wife Sara Janice Nichols Crosby; his daughters, Leslie Janiece Crosby Moss (James) and Amanda Jo Crosby Housley (Steven); his grandchildren, Chasity Moss Scarborough (Joseph), Marlee Renee Adams (Brian) and Sara Jo Crosby Housley; and his siblings, Vickie Crosby Toombs (Ed), Frances Crosby Dolan (Mark) and John Lewis Crosby (Carrie).
