He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Kimmons; and his brother Max Kimmons. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn Kimmons; his children, Devencia D. Kreuz (Gene), Larry R. Kimmons Jr. (Susanne) and Jason L. Kimmons; his grandchildren, Ambrielle C. Harris, Samantha Marie Kimmons, Katelyn Sykes and Layne Kimmons; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Timbs, Emmalyn Timbs and Lily Sykes; and his sister Diane Keller.
