He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frankie Westerfield Brown and Max Brown; his son Frank Brown; his brother Max Alvin Brown, Jr.; his wife Nancy Lee Brown; his children, Lisa Richofsky, Lanny Brown, Jr. and Janet Lewis; and his niece Michelle Castle Hawkins. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
