It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Ghafouri-Ashtiani of Brandon, Mississippi, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, who passed away on July 22, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Michael Lukens, Sr. of Brandon; her parents, Floyd Durham and Bonnie Jones Durham; and her siblings, Floyd Durham, Jr. and Barbara Pepper.
She is survived by: her husband Don Ashtiani of Brandon, MS; her grandchildren, Hayden Lukens of Brandon, Nevaeh Lukens of Brandon, Ashley Lukens, Michael Lukens (Stephanie) of Kansas and Jennifer Lukens of Richland; her great grandchildren, Emmitt Stephens, Elijah Stephens, John Michael Lukens, Alana Guthrie, Adalyn Guthrie and Avery Robertson; her brother John David Durham (Deann) of Pearl; her nephew Corey Durham of Kissime; and her nieces, Kylie Durham of Pearl and Alyssa Durham of Pearl.
