With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Valentine Grubbs of Brandon, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 9, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie B. Valentine and Mittie Green Valentine of Taylorsville, MS; her siblings, Robert C. Valentine, Don Valentine and Pansy Valentine Mason; and her stepdaughter Kim Grubbs Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Billy W. Grubbs; her children, Sherri Brown (Mike), Kimberly Titus (Tommy), Jill Thornton (Blake) and Brad Meadows; her stepchildren, Mike Grubbs (Rhonda), Mark Grubbs (Suzanne), Gregg Grubbs (Liz), Wayne Grubbs (Lisa) and Gayla Luff (Lee); and her son-in-law Bobby Glen Hall. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Goodwater Baptist Church (1313 Goodwater Rd NW, Magee, MS 39111). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
