He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lee Adams and Ruth Mae Blowe Adams; and his siblings, Joe Willie, Louise, Glenn, Bernice and Lonnie.
He is survived by: his sisters, Bessie Jean and Ruby Evans Macklin; his wife Alean McIntyre; his children, Kenneth Adams (Shirley), Linda Smith, Garry Adams, Laurie Barnes (Keith) and Tony Adams; and his siblings, Spencer Adams (Claudia), Johnnie Anderson, Rayfield Adams and Verdine Thompson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
