He was predeceased by: his sister Peggy Cole; and his nephews, Bill Holland, John Mann Holland and Jim Tom Cole. He is survived by: his children, Mandy Mann Oliphant (Shawn) and Karl Evans Mann (Steve Kahn); his grandchildren, Caroline Oliphant and John Michael Oliphant; his brother James Al Mann; and his nieces, Holly Holland and Bailey Holland (Aleia Dye-Holland).
