He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Hannaford Hill and Kathleen White Hill; his sisters, Melba Cannon, Margarite Womble and Dorothy Howell; his brother-in-law Tommy Howell; and his nephew Tim Howell.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Allen Hill; his children, Amy Savell (Larry) and Jody Hill; his brother Rick Hill (Pauline); his grandchildren, Reagan Savell, Maggie Savell and Lane Hill; his great grandchild Scarlett Marie Hill; his nephews, Jeff Cannon (Ann) and Michael Joe Cannon (Cheryl); his niece Lori Barham (Brooks); and his cousin Barbara Ann Goodson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
