He was predeceased by: his mother Alma Jean Griffith (Jones). He is survived by: his father Jessie Dwight Griffith; his siblings, Andrea and Richard (Sabrina); and his niece Aubree. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
He became actively involved in organizations like the Pearson Foundation and later worked as a counselor and mentor at Camp Pioneer, a Christian ministry that helps equip young people to serve God in their respective communities.
