He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Simpson and Syble Simpson; and his brother Terry Simpson. He is survived by: his wife Cheri Simpson; his children, Laura Simpson, Hal Simpson (Michelle) and Brad Simpson (Magda); and his grandchildren, Alex, Trace, Ethan, Amelia and Audrey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Baptist Church (5950 Terry Rd, Jackson, MS 39272). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
