He was predeceased by: his son Tyrone Jones; and his siblings, Earnestine Jones, Jessie Jones, Earnest White and J. C. White Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Jason Jerome Jones of Collins, MS, Mary Dell Jones, Shirley Jones, Anna Jones of California and Gloria Jones; his siblings, Anner Ruth Jennings of Pelahatchie, Rose Mary Beeman (Sylvester) of Pelahatchie, Bertha White of Forest, MS, Eddie White (Diane) of Goodhope and Chris White (Latorie) of Morton; and his aunt Essie Davis of Chicago. He is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
