He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Osee Lewis and Inez Lucille Hardy Lewis; and his brother William Richard Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Rhoeve Yelverton Lewis; his daughters, Dawn Lewis Ruggles (Arthur), Laura Lewis Oster (Daryl) and Judy Lewis Smith (Harry); his grandchildren, Bradley Martin, Stephanie Martin Paul (Andrew), Joseph Oster (Misty), Paul Oster (Kelley) and Matthew Oster (Mollie); and his great grandchildren, Tyler (Lauren), Madison, Paige, Bryce, Paden, Isabella, Emily Grace, Austin, Prentiss and Lillie.
