He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Nichols and Robbie Nichols; and his siblings, Jimmy Rayford, Vivian Rayford-Maxwell and Maxine of Washington.
He is survived by: his wife Floria Nichols; his children, Kenny Travis (Burnette) of Pelahatchie, MS, Vickie Lewis (Ken) of Clinton, MS, James Branch of Jackson, MS, Tameka Nichols of Pearl, MS and Lavernon Evans of Brandon, MS; and his siblings, Archie Rayford (Wanda) of Atlanta, GA, Cleveland Nichols (Patricia) of Morton, MS, Jessie of Los Angeles, CA and Loretta Spann of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
