He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Johnson; his brothers, Robert Sandifer and Keith Smith; his grandmother Louisa Johnson; and his aunt Maggie Neil.
He is survived by: his children, Tiki Mangum, James R. Johnson (Sharran), Michelle Johnson and Antoine G. Johnson (Kelishia); his siblings, Jerry Smith (Phyllis) of Columbus, OH and Michael Smith of Chicago, IL.; and his wife Gloria Johnson. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
